Hand-knotted yogamala on vegan silk for Japa mediation made of natural gemstones and a hand-cast pendant made of solid silver. The pendant is unique because no reusable casting mould was created, but the original was replaced by the silver directly during casting.
The 108 beads are strung by me in the traditional way on high-quality vegan silk and knotted individually. The traditional Guru bead is symbolised here by a hand-cast sage leaf made of solid silver.
Healing stone effect and intention
Serafinite (or seraphinite or clinochlor) is a fascinating gemstone with silvery fine veining in dark green mineral, which gives it something almost mystical, fairy-like. It is said to help one to peel oneself out of old patterns in order to become open to the new.
Sage (Salvia officinalis) is one of the oldest known medicinal plants and originates from the Mediterranean region, from where it was carried to other countries early on because of its healing powers. Even today, sage is used in a variety of ways in naturopathy as well as in cooking and for incense.
