This exclusive mala is a unique piece made of 6 x 4 mm faceted Madagascar rose quartz rondelles. The mala is hand-knotted by me in the traditional way on beading silk . It consists of 108 rose quartz beads as well as a hand-cast pendant made of solid silver in the shape of a triple elk catkin. The pendant is unique because no reusable casting mould was used, but the original was replaced by the bronze directly during casting.
Healing stone effect and intention
Rose quartz is said to be the ultimate stone of love and the heart chakra. It is said to strengthen receptivity and the ability for unconditional love as well as self-love and provides sensitivity and romance. It enhances sensitivity and empathy.
The alder has been a special tree for humans since time immemorial, and has been attributed magical powers since the Iron Age over 3000 years ago. The wood of the alder turns a bleeding red when it comes into contact with water/air and the alder has therefore become known as the female power tree.
