This wooden beading board , developed and handmade by me in Austria, is the perfect basic equipment for every jewellery designer, goldsmith or hobby jewellery maker. I originally designed this "malaboard" especially for presenting and designing yoga mala-necklaces , because I could not find a suitable beading board for the often very long malas. With this board I was the first on the market to integrate the characteristic pendant recess, which provides space for the Guru-bead on the malas.
The malaboard (necklaces board) offers enough space for extra-long necklaces up to 113 cm. If you dislike the unstable plastic boards as much as I do and are looking for a sustainable alternative, you will enjoy this woodenbeading board for many years to come.
The round groove in the middle is sufficient for bracelets up to 19 cm circumference. This corresponds to a common men's size bracelet. In addition, three further grooves with a length of 22,5 cm offer enough space for trying things out during the design process.
All beading boards are also available with dimensioning in cm and/or inches.
