The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (also known as Tryambakam Mantra) is considered to be the most important mantra of the Verden people besides the Gayatri Mantra. It is also called "Great Death Conquering Mantra" and addresses "Tryambaka" the "three-eyed god", who later on was associated with Shiva iis dentified.
